Confirmed! Kgomotso Christopher joins Scandal!

It has on Tuesday afternoon been confirmed that actress Kgomotso Christopher has joined the star-studded cast of e.tv's hit soapie Scandal!

Speaking to TMG Entertainment e.tv publicist Michael Pocock confirmed the news, explaining that the channel is excited to have her as part of the cast.

“Yes she has joined the show and will be on screen from late June. Since this is Masasa’s last week on the show, we needed to bring in a strong lead female character and we felt that Kgomotso is the perfect fit for the role,” Michael said.

He added that the actress will be playing a character named Yvonne, a high-class Sotho woman, who strings men along to help look after her so that she doesn’t have to work a day in her life.

It’s understood that Kgomotso started filming for the soapie this past week and has been welcomed with open arms on set.

Taking to Twitter Kgomotso said that she is excited to be a part of the show. “Excited to be working with the talented cast and leading show.”

The news comes just one month after Kgomotso shocked fans with news of her exit from SABC 3’s Isidingo.
