The world's obsession with Steven Avery is about to get renewed with news of a second season and the promise of a lot more information being revealed.

Avery's story gripped audiences since the docu-series' release in 2015.

He was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Teresa Halbach, a crime he denies committing.

"There is a ton of info that wasn't explored just in the confines of the episodes we've already done," Netflix's Ted Sarandos said during the TCA summer press tour. "There's a lot of new information coming up."

"The new episodes will reveal all of the new evidence we have developed to show Steven is innocent," said his attorney Kathleen Zellner.

The new episodes with follow Avery and well as his co-defendant, Brendan Dassey.

Dassey still waiting for a decision from a judge on whether he was "unlawfully imprisoned." In season one video evidence showed that he was 16 when he was arrested and was interrogated without a lawyer or parent present.

While there has been no release date from Netflix just yet, it is believed that it may be as soon as November.
