The year has been interesting and not without ups and downs, but it is the celeb feuds that got us howling and some gasping for breath.
From musicians to influencers, no one was spared, whether they were the ones poking the fire or not.
Here are celeb feuds we never thought would happen, like ever.
Slikour and Nota
This pair used to work together back in the day, and out of the blue Nhlamulo "Nota" Baloyi started singing like a cannery on Twitter.
Nearly a decade and a half later, Nota went on a rant, claiming Slikour had exploited him by offering him a 1/4 Nando's chicken instead of paying him for managing his social media.
“I went to Slikour’s office to manage their social media, as stated on Netflix's Behind The Label. Thankfully my pocket money was enough for my taxi fare there and back home because they only offered to pay me a Nando's 1/4 chicken. I was so insulted, I bought my own and worked for free,” Nota wrote.
Slikour said Nota had a personal vendetta against him as he could not understand why he would make defamatory claims about him.
“If I ever did Nota wrong. He's never mentioned it to me directly before he put it on social media. If I knew he hated me like this, I would have never invited this guy to a personal space like my wedding. He has a picture with my family."

Emtee and Nota Baloi
This feud has got to be the oddest to come out of 2022, but not weird for Nota because he has been picking a fight with almost everyone in the hip-hop game.
This one started when Nota pleaded with the We Up hit maker to stop consuming drugs. On many accounts the rapper clarified he was off drugs but that did not stop Nota. Emtee decided to fight back against Nota’s criticism when he posted a snap at a club sleeping. That picture trended on the socials for a while.
Makhadzi and Inno Morolong
Musician Makhadzi and reality TV star and club host Inno Morolong have been at each other's throats for a while and we could never put a finger on what's behind their beef. It started with the pair hurling insults at each other on Instagram in July.
Inno put Makhadzi on blast for not attending Dundee July, a gig for which she allegedly booked the Ghanama hit maker. After taking to social media to drag the musician, Inno shared screengrabs of her IG DM where she and Makhadzi had a spicy exchange.
Their tiff flared up again when the reality TV star took to her Insta stories and accused Makhadzi of fake dating master KG.

Lerato Kganyago vs Tebogo Thobejane
This is a classic example of things that start out private and then we catch the tail end of the feud.
Lerato mentioned the actress and podcaster during an Instagram Live, suggesting Tebogo had a hand in her marriage.
“I am not scared of Tebogo Thobejane. She must not even say about coming for me because she knows I've got those recordings. To say I always felt sorry for her when they were always bullying her. She is a very vile human being. She knows exactly what she did in my marriage,” Lerato said.
Tebogo, who was emotional when speaking to TshisaLIVE, shed light on Lerato's comments, explaining she had a conversation with the Metro FM presenter's husband, Thami Ndlala, who then allegedly sent an edited version of the recording to his wife.
“I had a conversation with a friend, or someone I thought was a friend. I have never been with Thami sexually. I am in fear for my life. Anything could happen to me. I am getting bullied again.”
