Tumelo “Mr JazziQ” Manyoni has launched the second season of his pedagogic amapiano podcast “JazziQ & Friends” in collaboration with Spitz Shoes.

The DJ and producer hopes to help shed light and celebrate the fast-growing dance genre of amapiano, and educate people more about the music industry.

“The reception from fans regarding the podcast has been humbling. I never imagined that we would have such an impact, especially 'cause this was a first for my team and I. We are grateful to Spitz for trusting us with a second season,, which we promise will be bigger and better than season one,” he tells TshisaLIVE.

“It's overwhelming. It's an amazing feeling because one would have never thought we'd get this far with the podcast because at the beginning it was more of an idea, today we are able to go into the second season and have more chats and some crazy moments. It's actually an amazing thing to be going through.”

JazziQ is always stepping into new territory in his career.

Aside from the music, JazziQ is also a business owner who is set to launch his own restaurant called Vibes on Main in the first week of June.

“I grew up in the business of entertainment, so besides the music. I've always been in business. I've just been known to be a business guy like that.

“I'm glad we are ready to open. Junck Park is still my entity. We want to make it a fast food franchise. As a businessman you are always looking for opportunities to better your life and the lives of people around [you] by creating more employment because as South Africa we struggle with jobs, and the youth are in the streets, so I want to help as much as I can.”
