Patricia 'Gogo Skhotheni' Motsoeneng is on a mission to shed light on spirituality with the launch of her podcast Venting on YouTube.

“I've always wanted to do a podcast especially when I saw the differences that we have when it comes to spirituality and the way we speak about it on social media. We argue, instead of understanding each other,” she told TshisaLIVE.

After two years in the making, Gogo Skhotheni released her first episode on Monday which has garnered 32 000 views in 18 hours at the time of publishing this article.

“I'm very much happy that I've gained so many views with just one episode and they are increasing, I feel like people have been waiting and I'm willing to submit. People must not expect a closed off Gogo Skhotheni as I will be touching on other topics.”

In the first episode, the sangoma and her co-host Romeo Malepe discuss ubugoma, family and a mutual rival, Gogo Maweni.

“I chose Romeo because his mind is very challenging and he raises points which I think the world is ready to know.”

In the coming episodes, Gogo Skhotheni plans to have guests of different spiritual and religious persuasions on her show, including newly initiated illuminati to Christianity and Islam.

“The venting podcast is where we vent our differences as people based on our belief. The show is not about bashing people,” she said.
