No stranger to South Africa, the much-adored, super-talented performer has in the past said she'll always return to Mzansi.
In 2019 Tamia was in South Africa to promote her studio album, Passion Like Fire.
“The one good thing that I feel certainly blessed about is that I am doing something that I love and I get to connect with people through music and be on stage and see people laughing, crying, hugging and dancing.
“You feel like you have gone through these experiences with people and that it is such an intimate thing and ... a blessing. I think that it's very important to tailor a show to the audience. It's important that I sing songs that remind people of the 20 years that I have put [into my singing and] of music that I have done,” Tamia told Sowetan.

Canadian-born R&B singer Tamia proved again why her live shows are a hit after taking South Africans down memory lane at the weekend.
The Poetry hitmaker closed her three-city tour in Johannesburg on Saturday after performing in Cape Town and Durban.
The sold-out show at the Sun Bet Arena at Time Square Casino was opened by singer Lloyiso, who thanked Tamia for the opportunity.
Performing hits like Stranger In My House and This Time It's Love, Tamia evoked nostalgia by transporting fans back to their “spring-cleaning days” on a Sunday, belting out the lyrics with broomsticks as their mics.
