Daughters taking the lead in Hollywood families

Actors Ashton Kutcher and his fiancé Mila Kunis have welcomed a daughter, continuing a Hollywood trend of firstborn daughters.

Kutcher, who some credit for popularising the relations between younger men and older woman when he was engaged to Demi Moore, who was 15 years his senior. Kunis meanwhile was engaged to Macaulay Culkin.

Kunis and Kutcher got engaged in February this year and are not the first of famous couples that have welcomed a baby girl.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed Blue Ivy two years ago.

Last June rapper Kanye West’s fiancé Kim Kardashian gave birth to a girl, North West.

Actors  Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling last month were also blessed with a daughter.

The two have long been close since meeting on the set of sitcom That '70s Show in the mid-90s and continued being friends even though they both took different paths in careers, and settling in with other partners.
