American actor Orlando Jones is back in SA - and is looking to buy a house

It turns out versatile American comedian, film and television actor Orlando Jones, can't seem to get enough of South Africa - so much so that he's even planning to buy a house in the country.

The seasoned actor is back after having recently visited the country to film Madiba, a six-part US miniseries based on the life and times of Nelson Mandela, in which he stars as Oliver Tambo.

However, this time, he's here to perform his one-man comedy show, Comedy Central presents Stand Up and Laugh with Orlando Jones on 22 and 23 July in the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace.

But more than that, he has shown a keen interest in buying a house in SA.

"I am looking for a house here, I want to do business here," he told The Citizen.

Speaking of his upcoming one-man show, Evert van der Veer, who is the Vice President at Comedy Central Africa, revealed in a statement that they are looking forward "to showcase high quality international comedy and to profile a comedy legend of the stature of Orlando Jones to South Africa."
