'Your journey to becoming a pilot begins today': Celeb kids head to school

Some of the country's most famous faces joined thousands of parents who dropped their kids off for the first day of school on Wednesday, and no doubt there were tons of tears.

Singer and actress Kelly Khumalo dropped her son Christian off for his first day back at primary school and, in an emotional Instagram post, wished her son well in his dream to become a pilot.

"As he gets ready for school, a big part of me is extremely happy yet emotional. We have come a long way my boy. Yes, you and I fight every five minutes because of your extra ordinary character but then again I didn't ask God for a normal boy.

"Last week, I asked what you wanted to be when you grow up, you said you want fly aeroplane, Well, son, your journey of becoming a pilot begins today," she wrote.

 

Other celebrities, including, L'vovo, Muvhango actress Maduvha Madima and Chad Saaiman also posted pictures or videos on social media of themselves dropping off their little ones at  school.

Comedian Mpho Pops, DJ Sbu and actress Millicent Makhado were among the celebs who dropped their kids off for the first day of pre-school.
