It appears that Mr. Ronge must have watched "Welcome to the Rileys" with a heavy thumb on the fast-forward button as his review contains a few blatant inaccuracies.

The character of Doug (as played by James Gandolfini) is not "a travelling salesman, occasionally buying anonymous sex with strangers."

He is an Indianapolis businessman attending a convention in New Orleans when he meets Mallory (Kristen Stewart). He firmly and consistently rejects her sexual overtures, he isn't interested in purchasing sex from her (or anyone else for that matter).

And he never "brings her back to his home town." Their encounter ends where it begins: in New Orleans. Most puzzling is Mr. Ronge's reference to the "sexual consequences of his reckless impulse" to stay in New Orleans to help Mallory.

Doug's relationship to Mallory is entirely paternal and chaste, there are no sexual consequences to be had between them.

These inaccuracies in recounting the plot of the film give the distinct impression that Mr. Ronge was in too much of a hurry to actually watch it.
