Department calls for comment on 2018 school calendar

Just over a month into the 2016 school year‚ the Department of Basic Education has completed its proposed calendar for the 2018 school year. In a statement on Tuesday‚ the department said Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga has – “after consultation with the Council of Education Ministers” - published the calendar for comment.“All interested parties including school governing bodies and members of the public” have until March 7 to submit their comments on it.The proposed calendar is available at www.education.gov.za. ..
