Eleven injured in Sasolburg explosion

Paramedics on Monday morning treated 11 people for minor and moderate injuries following an explosion at a factory in Sasolburg‚ Free State.

According to ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring‚ emergency services arrived on the scene just after 8am to find the factory already evacuated.

“Paramedics assessed several bystanders and found that one man has sustained moderate injuries while ten others had sustained minor injuries‚” he said in a statement.

“The patients were treated and transported to hospital.”
