SA's most clogged city

Cape Town has been rated the most congested city in South Africa. Online database Numbeo released its 2015 Traffic Index this month. It ranked 165 cities and placed Cape Town as the 23rd-most congested internationally. Pretoria was 36th and Johannesburg 42nd.Marius Luyt, head of public affairs at the Automobile Association, said he was surprised at Cape Town's high ranking."Congestion on the roads is a big problem in all major cities in South Africa. Some of the key reasons are the maintenance backlog for road infrastructure and the lack of integrated public transport systems."Another issue is the maintenance of traffic lights and the lack of adequate law enforcement where traffic lights are not working."According to Numbeo, Mumbai is the world's most congested city...
