A judge in Australia has ordered a 20-year-old mother not to breast-feed her baby because she has a tattooed finger and foot. Matthew Myers, a federal circuit court judge, said the tattoos constituted a risk that the 11-month-old boy could be infected with HIV.He said the mother had tested negative for HIV but there was still a health threat because less than three months had passed since she had the tattoos."It is not in the best interests of the child that the mother continue to breast-feed," he said.The judge relied on the Australian Breast-feeding Association, which has warned that "getting tattoos increases the risk of HIV infection". ..
