Toddler killed in eight storey fall in Durban CBD

A two-year-old girl plunged eight storeys to her death from a block of flats in the Durban CBD on Sunday morning‚ paramedics said. “At approximately 11am paramedics from ER24 were returning to their station when they were flagged down by bystanders on Gillepsie Street in Durban. Upon further inspection they (paramedics) found a small crowd gathered on the sidewalk around the lifeless body of the two-year-old girl‚” ER24 emergency medical service said.It added that a severely distraught mother had explained to paramedics that the two-year-old and her other child were playing inside their apartment when the girl had fallen out of the window.“There was nothing that paramedics could do for the little one and she was declared dead on the scene. The mother was treated on the scene for shock‚” ER24 said...
