A dog owner has been arrested for suspected animal cruelty after his pet Chihuahua tested positive for methamphetamine. The Associated Press reported the suspect, Isaiah Nathaniel Sais of Fontana, southern California, took his pet, Jack Sparrow, to an emergency centre on July 5, saying the animal had swallowed the drug after finding it in his house.The dog was near death and suffering convulsions, seizures and an irregular heartbeat, veterinarian Allison Pope said.After the drug test came back positive, Sais is said to have declined treatment and left with the dog, but Animal Services later seized the animal from his home.Jack Sparrow is in a stable condition and will be transferred to a temporary foster home. ..
