Rudie Swanepoel posted a video on Facebook showing what it is like when an elephant flips your car - with you in it.

The elephant was very clearly annoyed, flapping its ears and raising its tusks before it charged, giving the car plenty of warning.

Which was ignored as the occupant kept on filming – until the elephant flipped out and flipped the bakkie.

Swanepoel also shared pictures of the aftermath.

Another video posted to YouTube last week by Kruger Park shows a car nearly running into an elephant.
