Anthony Laffor appears to be on his way out of Mamelodi Sundowns having absconded back to Liberia after being censured by a disciplinary hearing. Laffor is believed to have refused to turn up for training ahead of Downs’ first Caf Champions League group stage match against ES Setif in Algeria‚ to be played this Saturday.Sundowns left for the match on Tuesday‚ via Istanbul‚ to be played Saturday.Laffor apparently learnt that striker Leonardo Castro was returning to training a few days later than the rest of the squad.Contractual chaos makes a mockery of Sundowns' CAF preparationsMamelodi Sundowns captain Ramahlwe Mphahlele has been offered a R30,000 less monthly salary by his own club than a rival offer by Kaizer Chiefs. He refused to report for training until the same day Castro – who was given extended leave because of the recent birth of his baby – did‚ and the Liberian faced a disciplinary hearing.Laffor‚ though‚ has since absconded back to his home country.Laffor is believed to have received interest from Kaizer Chiefs and his defiance is thought to be linked to the pursuit from Naturena.
