Teyana Taylor lights up Kanye's 'Fade'
At the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, rapper Kanye West introduced his latest work after a wordy four-minute speech. The new single, Fade , from his album The Life of Pablo , features an athletic woman named Teyana Taylor, dancing expressively in the gym before heading to the shower with a man ( her fiancé, NBA player Iman Shumpert) and subsequently appearing with him and their infant daughter Iman Taylor "Junie" Shumpert jnr .The video is available through subscription music service Tidal.Jae Blaze, the video's choreographer, told Pitchfork that although everyone is now comparing Fade to Flashdance - the 1983 romantic drama film - it wasn't part of the concept.Blaze says that Taylor "just took Flashdance to 2016... She brought it to a generation who may not have even seen the film before!" ..
