Lerato took to Twitter on Monday night to share her opinions about the latest episode of Mzansi Magic's drama series The Queen.

The TV personality said, "The Queen could be a Shim".

This didn't sit well with some followers who called Lerato out for being 'derogatory' to gay people.

But Lerato was not having any of it and was ready with a serious clap back.

"I've been insulted, harassed, for being open about being part of the LGBTI community. I've raised concerns, issued affecting the LGBTI community, right here, on TV, on radio and I've even been victimized for it and for having a gay brother," Lerato tweeted.

She went on to add that people can question a lot of things but not her heart and integrity.

Lerato went on to debate with other followers if the word 'Shim' is insulting or not.
