'Dispute must end', says NUM

The National Union of Mineworkers says it has agreed with Xstrata to resolve within seven days a dispute over an employee share ownership programme that disrupted coal and alloy production over the past week.

After a meeting between the union and the company, the union said it would consult its members, but the strike that started more than a week ago would continue for now.
