While our "Honourable Members" are all causing chaos in parliament, the main member is making as if he is the "G-spot" at the G20 meeting in Australia.

Is he trying to sell his Nkandla philosophy of finance to the international hot shots?

Mr Main Member, President Jacob Zuma, we need you.

Parliament has become a chaos of magnitude and, if things do not improve, a state of emergency will be declared in those august portals and the national assembly could become a "no-go" zone.

I watched the stately Mangosuthu Buthelezi regarding it all with amazement, and probably thinking that a Zulu impi was needed to restore order.

Instead, police officers rushed in the front door while freedom of the media was shoved out of the back door as televised coverage of the proceedings was halted.

Is this the democracy we were waiting for since 1652, when Jan van Riebeeck first saw Table Mountain and the missionaries started preaching peace on earth while whites "stole" the land?

For heaven's sake, where is Nelson Mandela?

We're sick of the grim reaper. We need a guardian angel so we can start beating swords into ploughshares again.
