Petrol price to fall by 8.3% next Wednesday

The retail price of 95-grade petrol in South Africa will drop by 93 cents or 8.3 percent a litre from next Wednesday, while wholesale diesel will decrease by 9.9 percent, the government said on Friday.

Petrol will now cost 10.31 rand a litre while the new wholesale diesel price will be 9.26 rand in the main Gauteng inland region.
