Together SA is going places

An open letter to the nation of South Africa: Jamaica and its representatives have always been interested in the development of your country.Whether by official representation or by the songs and ballads of their musicians, Jamaicans have continued to voice the need for positive change and development in your country.Having seen the path you have taken in recent years, experiencing the horror of apartheid, it appears that you are in a position to become one of the most harmonious countries in the world. No doubt there will still be lingering resentment in some areas of the country. How could this not be? It would be impossibleBut the key is that, having achieved such a tremendous accomplishment, if the country is allowed to lapse again into a state of conflict it would be a disaster of humongous proportions for all involved. It seems that what is needed in South Africa is for the white community as a whole to organise itself in a way so they can nurture, assist and support the development of the black community to the maximum. And the black community, it would seem, needs to organise itself in such a way that all input that is made can be put to the best possible use to achieve maximum results. The white South African community has a tremendous obligation to the black community for the forgiveness that has been shown them. ..
