A crowd of about 5‚000 residents of Ackerville‚ Emalahleni‚ have made it clear that they want President Jacob Zuma to "fall". A crowd of about 5‚000 residents of Ackerville‚ Emalahleni‚ have made it clear that they want President Jacob Zuma to "fall".“Zuma must fall‚ Zuma must fall!” the crowd shouted as Economic Freedom Fighters' (EFF) leader Julius Malema took to the stage to address them.Old women and men sat on chairs in front of the opposition party's truck‚ while behind them young people dressed in red chanted “Juju‚ Juju‚ Juju!” as the pumped their fists in the air.Malema was in Witbank on Wednesday as his Mpumalanga campaign trail‚ ahead of the August 3 local government elections‚ wound down.“This is not a rally‚ it is just a community meeting. So imagine what it would be like if it was a rally‚” said Malema‚ the crowd shouting in agreement.Malema told the people that they would never be free without flushing toilets and land ownership. However‚ he said things would never change as long as President Zuma was leading the country. The country had done well under former presidents Nelson Mandela‚ Thabo Mbeki and Kgalema Motlanthe‚ said the EFF leader.“Until this crook came umakhandakhanda (big head) came‚” he said referring to Zuma.Malema said under the president's watch‚ people had lost jobs‚ the country's economy declined and they still lived in shacks.“Zuma thinks he is special‚ (he is a) graduate of grade two ...there is nothing special about Zuma. We did him a favour (by letting him lead the country)‚” said Malema. He said Zuma would have been a queue marshall at the local taxi rank had it not been for the “favour” from the people of the country.Malema continued with his attack on the president as he had in previous rallies around the province this week‚ calling Zuma a “blesser” president who had bought his four wives cars worth about R9m‚ while his people continue to live in shacks.A “blesser” is a man uses his wealth to shower women with gifts in return for sex.Malema reminded the people his party had ensured that Zuma was ordered to pay back the state money he had used to build his Nkandla homestead.Zuma‚ said Malema‚ should not be in Parliament because the Constitutional Court had found that he had acted unlawfully in the Nkandla matter.“We are going to fight with him until he resigns‚” he said drawing a loud “Juju‚ Juju‚ Juju!” from the crowd. He urged people to vote in the upcoming local government elections if they wanted to change their lives and get out of the shacks...
