The Durban Magistrates’ Court is back in session after a bomb scare early on Tuesday. KwaZulu-Natal police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane said that police explosives and K9 units searched the courthouse in Somtseu Road after a hoax call at about 9am."A bomb threat was made via a telephone call to a court employee. The court was evacuated and thoroughly searched but nothing was found‚" he said.Police are investigating the source of the call."This is very serious. Court proceedings were disrupted. The perpetrator must be charged with making a false bomb threat‚" said Zwane. He said he wasn't aware of any "big" cases being heard at the court when the threat was made.A bomb scare also had people scrambling to leave the High Court in Cape Town on last week on Wednesday. A thorough search revealed no threat. TMG Digital/Durban Bureau..
