Legendary Australian wing David Campese feels the Springboks will comfortably beat Scotland in their Rugby World Cup clash in Newcastle on Saturday (kick-off 17:45 SA time).
Campese posted a video to his Twitter page where he gave his prediction for the match.
“Unfortunately, Scotland can try as much as they like, but I’m picking South Africa by 20 points. They are a force to be reckoned with,” said Campese.
With Bok skipper Jean de Villiers ruled out for the tournament with a jaw fracture, Campese is excited by the prospect of seeing youngsters Damian de Allende and Jesse Kriel do duty in midfield.
“With Jean de Villiers not playing, it brings (together) those two young guys in the centres... they’ve actually had a great combination this year.”
Campese, 52, played 101 Tests for the Wallabies between 1982 and 1996.
