The 1993 film Falling Down had quite an impact on young me. I watched it when it came out at the cinema (pfft, what were age restrictions then ...) and later it was one of the films I studied in my drama and film elective. Directed by Joel Schumacher and written by Ebbe Roe Smith, it starred Michael Douglas as the main character, William “Bill D-Fens” Foster, who loses it one day in traffic, leaves his car and treks on foot across Los Angeles to reach his ex-wife’s house for his daughter's birthday...
