Afro Soul artist Andile Ses’khona hits all the right notes

Andile Mpohlo is a 31-year-old singer from Mdantsane township, East London. Having joined the music industry, he created a stage name: Andile Ses’khona.

Ses’khona has always had an interest in the genre Afro-pop/soul which led to the realisation of his dream to sing and write songs of this genre.

He has produced a debut album titled Elam Ithongo, with 11 tracks that he has written and composed himself.

The positive feedback from his fans and radio stations is clear with the growing demand and popularity of his music.

Ses’khona has worked with a number of people within the industry, writing songs, directing music videos and performing with some artists.

He has written a song and featured on the video of Double Dose’s song Andinalo Ixesha Lakho.

He has worked with Deejay Tulz, Akhona Xlnt, Montay, Crazy Tulz, Mbu Soul, Popi. He has also shared the stage with the likes of Jaziel Brothers, Siphokazi, Ntando, Theo from Mafikizolo, Zahara.

Ses’khona’s album Elam Ithongowas was released on the November 8, 2013.
