A trailer revealing a documentary about Chris Brown and his life has hit the internet.

In the almost three minute clip, viewers get a taste of what to expect of the Chris Brown - Welcome to my life film.

Featuring commentary from the top echelons of America's music industry - Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Foxx and Mary J Blige provide their opinions of the R&B star's infamous life.

The clip also touches on the moment that turned Brown's career around - when he was involved in a physical altercation with his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

Brown shares he was feeling suicidal and was coping by sleeping most of the time. His mother, Joyce said she thought she was about to lose her son.

The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
