Letshego Zulu had an emotional first Christmas without Gugu

It was the first Christmas without her beloved husband Gugu, and Letshego Zulu opened up about the turmoil she went through.

Speaking about how the day was, Letshego penned an uplifting message on her Instagram account.

"So u ask, how was our 2nd Christmas? Certainly not the same.  A rough & emotional start. Loads of messages of comfort from friends & family streamed in...more tears. Until one of my closest sister friends sent me a message saying "Merry Christmas to you, Gugz, Lele and rest of the family. You know he's with you always, he never left you". Now THAT was the best thing I'd heard in 5months & a week. The 1st of my closest friends to acknowledge his presence in this way. Complete mind shift for me. Yep, he's with us everyday. Not in body but his presence is definitely felt all day, everyday. We've just lost our sense of seeing, hearing & touching him but hey we can sense him and he can see us so that'll have to do now until we meet again. "

Gugu Zulu died while attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro earlier this year. He left behind his wife and their baby daughter.
