Ntsiki Mazwai and Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse have continued their war of words, after Sipho took to TV recently to shade Ntsiki.

The pair first fell out early last year when Ntsiki published a series of tweets appearing to accuse musician Simphiwe Dana of being an alcoholic who slept her way to the top.

As the feud between Ntsiki and Simphiwe got more heated, Sipho stepped in to publicly reprimand the two.

Ntsiki did not take kindly to the comment and responded by labelling the music veteran a "self-righteous gossip" who was looking for attention.

"What kind of an elder reads tabloids and then wants to call you to order about tabloid bullsh*t? C'mon. Be an elder...not a self-righteous gossip. You can't call people to order on Twitter...that's just show off and looking for attention. Is this the appropriate way you think to solve this my elder? You have my number...no need for public displays," Ntsiki tweeted in response.

The incident quickly died, but was resurrected recently when Sipho took to SABC 3's TrendingSA TV show to share his thoughts on Ntsiki and her comments.

The show's Kuli Roberts asked Sipho how he felt about the incident and shared her disgust at Ntsiki's rant.

"I do not appreciate it when someone calls you a gossiper. You’re an elder and our legend," Kuli said.

Sipho responded by saying that he was not bothered by Ntsiki's rant and suggested that she was a "small -minded" person.

"It’s okay you know, you must allow people, small-minded people also, the right to express themselves. I just felt that I had a responsibility to try create peace but if someone felt that I was interfering and decided to call me something, it is their prerogative to feel that way. I am not fazed by it," Sipho said.

Ntsiki Mazwai responded to Sipho's comments a few hours later, taking to Twitter to say that she would not "stoop down" to Sipho and Kuli's level.

She went on to suggest that Sipho had once hit on her and he was now lashing out after she rejected him.

Sipho has yet to respond to Ntsiki's latest tweets.
