Actress Rami Chuene is on a mission to make dreams come true by offering to MC weddings in rural Limpopo for free.

Even better news for the bride and groom is that it's for Mahala!

After being inundated with enquiries from couples in Limpopo who wanted to have her at their wedding but could not afford it, Rami decided to give back.

"I always get enquiries from people who are getting married and want me to be the MC at their weddings. Yes, in my line of work we charge a lot of money for events, and not everyone can afford our services," she said.

Rami explained that even though she often charged couples from Limpopo up to 45% less than couples in Johannesburg and Cape Town, she wanted to do more.

  • Two hilarious parodies of the anti-Zuma grannies to make you giggleAs hundreds of protesters brave the cold Joburg weather to march to the Union Buildings on Wednesday, more than a few might adopt the latest protest dance trend to hit SA.

"For my Limpopo people living in the most rural areas, I will be going an extra mile. The very discounted price I charge will be discounted even further or scrapped altogether. Yes, you heard right," she said.

Rami explained that there were some conditions that applied to the deal, which was specifically for people who could not afford her services.

  • Celebrities join in the outpouring of tributes to 'brave' OnhlametseWell-known celebrities have joined the nation in paying tribute to 18-year-old Ontlametse Ntlami Phalatse, who died after a long battle with Progeria.

"You can't be living/working in Sandton and having your wedding at your parents home back in Limpopo and expect a free wedding. This is for those who can't afford my services but would love to have me come through."

The actress has invited interested couples to email their story to her on rami@ramsgaterecords.co.za.

And remember the wedding has to be in 2017!
