Amapiano star Kabza De Small turned a year older, and his protégé Young Stunna penned a heartfelt post to a man he has called his dad.

Taking to his Instagram in a lengthy post he said Kabza was family to him.

"They always ask me why I say you’re my father. I always tell them that is what you are to all of us. You take care of us, you always make sure we are always in line and never doing stupid things, you shout at us because you care and love us, you want to see everyone you care about succeed because that’s who you are, a caring and loving person, a lovable person even.

"More than a boss, you’re a brother and a father, you’re family. I wish the Lord can create more real humans like you. People who always tell it like it is, people who know how to lift others up, people who know how to live with people. I love you so much pa. You saved my life, not only me but my family’s lives. Today should actually be a holiday. It’s king’s day.  You’re God-sent, pa. Happy birthday Mr Motha. More life."

In his mentions musician and actress Nandi Madida thanked him for appreciating Kabza while he is alive to hear and see it.

"Shout out to you Stunna for giving Kabza his flowers. It says a lot about you as a person and how you were raised. In a world where people lack gratitude and never give thanks to those who help them along the way as they feel entitled to success, not understanding that it such a blessing to find someone who is willing to open the door for your God-given talent, this is beautiful. Keep it up superstar. I’m always in awe of your humility, talented young brother. Happy birthday king."
