In its own way 2022 has been insane and we have the celebrity viral moments listed below to show you just how much.

Need we say more?

The missing Tupperware

2001 Miss SA second runner-up Sonia Booth exposed her husband Matthew Booth alleging he had been unfaithful during their marriage, sharing receipts from Valentine's Day 2022 when the “affair” allegedly began.

Sonia revealed that she hired a private investigator to corroborate her initial suspicions.  The PI followed Matthew and his alleged mistress (who is also married) to Polokwane, Pietermaritzburg and Umhlanga.

Sonia's own investigation revealed Matthew had allegedly been dipping into their son's education fund to impress the other woman and his peers and had been using her vehicle for their liaisons. The final straw was when Matthew allegedly stayed up at night making cheesecake for his mistress using Sonia's Tupperware.

Sex tape

SK Khoza has had many viral episodes throughout the year and a lot of controversy surrounding his name.

His video of having oral sex with an unidentified woman made the rounds on social media and got tongues wagging.

When TshisaLIVE reached out to SK for comment, he responded that he was unbothered as it was from his OnlyFans account.

“It’s from my only fans page so I’m chilled,” he wrote.

Leaked content

A bare video of Lulo “Sikhululo Maliwa” Cafe was leaked on social media.

Lulo became a trending topic after a blogger leaked an explicit video of him.

“I’m OK. I was just apologising to those I’ve let down ... I just need some time and I will be OK,” he tweeted.

The 'misused' donations

Dr Malinga, real name Goodwill, had social media raving after he appeared in a R5m McLaren on social media promoting his single amid him pleading with fans for financial assistance.

The musician set the record straight with TshisaLIVE, saying;

“It's not my car, it's just a video. I never wrote that the car is mine. It's my friend's car. For now, I cannot afford such a car. Even if I had the money I wouldn't buy that car now. That car is too small for me, I love big cars. Buying a McLaren for me is the last resort,” he said.

Abuse allegations

In early August, socialite and DJ Sithelo Shozi alleged she had been a victim of gender-based violence (GBV) at the hands of her former partner and baby daddy Andile Mpisane, posting images and text messages.

Reality TV star and businesswoman Shauwn “Mam'Khize” Mkhize (Andile's mother) then denied all allegations levelled against her and her family in an official statement.

“I would like to categorically state that neither myself nor my family have been witness to any alleged abuse against Sithole and further [would] like to highlight that these allegations are false and defamatory,” the statement read.
