Performance in the air: Inside Pabi Cooper’s one woman show

Amapiano sensation Pabi Cooper is grateful for all the support she received at her first one woman show at the Sun Bet Arena over the weekend. 

Taking to her Twitter timeline, she shared clips, images and retweeting everyone who has congratulated her for her first show. 

"Thank you so much to everyone who pulled through last night and rocked Cooper FC Shutdown with us. I was not prepared for the amount of love and support I received from everyone yesterday, but nonetheless kele vrostana thata," tweeted Pabi. 

She also thanked the artists who were on the line-up: Cassper Nyovest, A-Reece, Kings of Amapiano (DJ Maphorisa and Kabza).

"Shoutout to all the artists, teams, brands and supporters who were part of not just a successful show execution but also making history again with Pabi Cooper being the youngest artist to host at SunBet Arena."

She vowed to return to the arena next year to bring the fire.

"Next year we’re doing it bigger and better, a re fele moya. We’re doing it beyond our wildest imagination, breaking the barriers because God got us," she tweeted

She was praised by industry colleagues who were impressed. 

"Big congratulations, Pabi Cooper last night was special. You’re a very smart young woman. This is only the beginning for you. Keep going. Love," wrote singer Donald.

"Well done to Pabi Cooper for doing something special last night. Don’t know why I would be seeing hate here when a young lady is trying to do something positive, but ke injalo as always. Very inspiring stuff! Cooper FC," wrote rapper Touchline.

Pabi had the attention of US rapper BIA not so long ago. 

BIA headed to Pabi's DMs and told the singer she couldn't wait to see her live. The amapiano star screen-grabbed the chat and posted it on her Insta stories.
