Tamaryn Green has given women tips on how to pick out their perfect wedding dress.

She had a few lavish wedding ceremonies which came with exquisite dresses. Taking to her Instagram timeline she shared visuals of when she was preparing for each of her special days she shared with friends and family leading up to her white wedding.

“All my dream wedding dresses coming to life! I always knew I wanted, timeless, elegant and striking. Here are a few wedding dress tips that helped me:

1. This is not the time to try something crazy new. Go back to those dresses that made you feel radiant. That’s the style you love & feel most confident in. 2. For dress fittings either go alone or with someone you trust implicitly (mom, sister, best friend). Not a crowd. 3. Don’t be scared to disagree with your dress maker! You’re paying for it. 4. If possible, do a hair and makeup trial to get an idea of the full look. Game changer. Oh yes, and shoes! 5. Practise dancing, walking and sitting in your dress. You want to be comfortable. 6. If you feel stressed, remember the bigger picture, you’re marrying your soul mate. It’s only a dress after all. 7. ENJOY! Take in every moment,” she wrote.

Tamaryn and her husband Zesimdumise 'Ze' Nxumalo had multiple ceremonies and she explained why.

The couple had their white wedding in April 2022.

She wrote a lengthy post describing the proposal, lobola negotiations, Umembeso and other ceremonies that happened before they could officially be husband and wife.

“As Ze & I come from different cultures, we decided to embrace all traditions and rituals required by both cultures to be married.

“In western society, there is traditionally an engagement, followed by a kitchen tea/bachelorette or bachelors, then finally the white wedding. A traditional Zulu wedding is quite different but also has distinctive stages. First a proposal happens and once the girl says yes to the guy's proposal, lobola negotiations take place,” she wrote.
