Tributes have been pouring in for actor Bradley Olivier who died on Thursday.

Confirming the news in a statement, his family said his death was peaceful.

“The family extends their gratitude to the Life Flora Hospital and staff. Your compassionate attention and professional care shown to Bradley, the family, and friends during this time has been invaluable.

“We remember Bradley for his legacy and the impact he left in all our lives. Bradley will always be within our hearts and the many others that loved him. The family is grateful for all the support they have received during this trying time. Bradley touched so many lives, words cannot describe how much we will miss him,” read the statement.

Social media was flooded with messages from those who had worked with the actor and fans that had watched him in different productions.

“I will never forget that day I met you on set of your first feature film you wrote and produced with your friend Solomon Cupido. Shooting a film in Cape Town is like climbing Mount Everest in flip-flops, and you did it my man, you flippin did it! You can be very proud of that; the movie is finished and it will make people laugh and cry at the same time till the end of times. Your legacy will live on and inspire others forever, wrote musician Bouwer Bosch.

“Rest easy, 'Danny' from Binnelanders. This is so sad, such a young person. It actually affects viewers when they get to “connect” with a character in a program. When I heard the news yesterday, I got all choked up. Thank you Bradley for sharing your talent with us. Gone too soon, in my view... sad,” wrote another.

Bradley made his TV debut on Villa Rosa in 2017. He also starred in multiple productions such as 7de Laan, High Rollers, 4 Play Sex Tips for Girls, Roer Jou Voete, Rockville, Vlug na Egipte, Sokhulu and Partners, Let Heaven Wait, MTV Shuga Down South, Fathers Matter and Die Kasteel.
