Bonang Matheba and Thuso Mbedu are a duo we never thought we needed on the fashion runways.

On Sunday night, the pair made their runway debut at the prestigious Le Défilé runway show hosted by L’Oréal Paris in the city.

Social media was abuzz with excitement with some praising the stars, while others were pitting them against each other on who was better between the two.

The Ecole Militaire hosted a "Walk Their Worth" event and "Le Défilé L'Oréal Paris" invited all women.

Bonang took to her X timeline to share the moment with her followers, saying: "Bonang. What a moment. What a life. @lorealparisfr #LeDefile."

Late in May on their official Instagram timeline, L'Oréal Paris welcomed Thuso to their family.

“We are thrilled to announce the talented South African actress Thuso Mbedu as a new brand ambassador and spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris in the sub-Saharan Africa region.

"In addition to her successful international acting career, Thuso is passionate about empowering women and girls by providing them with educational resources alongside the non-profit organisation Save The Children.

"Together we look forward to inspiring and uplifting individuals of all backgrounds to embrace their beauty, celebrate diversity and foster self-confidence.

"Welcome to the L'Oréal Paris family, Thuso.”

Bonang has been busy recently, revealing during her sit-down with Thando Thabethe on 947's HerStory Unplugged that she's opening a talent agency

“It's like a power production agency, part talent hub, because South Africans are great and we are fantastic, but we have not mastered talent management, and there's no governance in our entertainment industry,” she said.

“We have so many superstars, but why aren't they where they need to be? We don't know how to cultivate them, provide for them and move them to where they need to be.”
