Zwelinzima  Vavi has probably criticised the ANC more than he has supported the political education of Cosatu members.

He has distanced himself from ANC action more than he has encouraged workers to join and participate in the vanguard of the working class, the SACP. That is enough for any sensible worker to call for Vavi to leave his Cosatu seat.
