According to a DA press release, the DA is calling for an investigation into Facebook after finding a Julius Malema fan whose comments allegedly "threaten South Africans" and references a plot to kill President Jacob Zuma within the next six months.

The DA’s national spokesman MP Lindiwe Mazibuko stressed that though the DA supports freedom of speech and open forums such as facebook, “we nevertheless believe this post to egregious enough to warrant further investigation.”

The DA further called on ANCYL president Julius Malema to distance himself from the said comments.

The posts have been reported to the police, and the website's moderators.
