Prepaid power down: Eskom

The prepaid electricity system has gone down countrywide, Eskom confirms.

Spokeswoman Hilary Joffe said they were investigating the problem and hoped it will be up and running soon.

"People are working on the problem and we hope it will be back within hours. We cannot put time to it but hope it will be back. We apologise to our clients," she said.
