Fuel price to drop on Wednesday

The retail price of all grades of petrol will decrease by 11 cents a litre on Wednesday, the energy department said on Friday.

A litre of 95 ULP (unleaded) petrol in Gauteng would now cost R10.66.

Diesel prices would increase from Wednesday. The price of diesel with a 0.05 percent sulphur content would increase by 47 cents a litre.

The price of diesel with a 0.005 percent sulphur content would increase by 44 cents a litre.

The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin would increase by 43 cents a litre.

The single maximum national retail price for illuminating paraffin would increase by 57 cents a litre.
