Cops appeal for help to find missing PE teacher

The family of Nelson Mandela Bay teacher Jayde Panayiotou pleaded with the public to help in the search for the 28-year-old who went missing on Tuesday morning. Police spokesman Warrant Officer Alwin Labans said that Panayiotou‚ 28‚ is a teacher at Riebeek College Girls’ High School in Uitenhage.“She was apparently waiting for a lift outside her residence in Stellen Glen in Kabega Park. She was not at the house when her lift arrived‚” he said.“We can confirm that money does appear to have been withdrawn from an ATM in Kwanobuhle.”Labans added that a team of specialist detectives had been assigned to the case and had deployed a team to search for Panayiotou.Thousands of people have been sharing pictures of Panayiotou and messages of hope and support on social media sites since her disappearance.Anyone with information is urged to contact 10111 or Panayiotou’s family on 076 526 7174. – RDM News Wire, The Herald ..
