Five injured in accident involving taxi, bus and car on Jan Smuts

Five people sustained minor injuries in a collision on Jan Smuts Avenue and Westwold Street, near Zoo Lake, this morning.

According to ER24 paramedics, provincial paramedics and Fire and Rescue Services arrived on scene and found that a taxi, bus and car were involved in the incident.

Four women and one man, who were occupants of the taxi, were injured. They were assessed and treated for minor injuries. They were transported to hospital for further medical care.

The cause of the incident is unknown.
