A Free State Bishop was given a kung-fu style kick to his groin by a pastor during an unholy brawl that erupted after a broadcast at a community radio station.

Bishop Sipho Mosia of the Be Born Again Ministries in Steynsrus told Sowetan that a radio sermon which he gave irked Prophet Nicholas Ramaroa, the resident preacher and board member at Mozolo FM in Kroonstad.

Bishop Mosia told the paper that after his sermon a week ago, which was chastising false prophets, he was met by a furious Prophet Ramaroa outside who shouted at him: “Stop insulting other preachers and preach the word.”

Prophet Ramaroa then unleashed a flying kick which landed on Bishop Mosia’s groin, knocking him to the floor while he called him ungodly names, according to the report.

“He called me the devil’s pastor,” said Mosia, who claims Prophet Ramaroa threatened him with death if he continued with his sermons.

Prophet Ramaroa promptly apologised to Bishop Mosia after another pastor intervened. Prophet Ramaroa said Bishop Mosia’s sermons were offensive to non-Christians.
