Man dies after microlight crashes on sugar estate

A man died on Friday morning when his microlight aircraft crashed into a sugarcane field on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast. KZN emergency services spokesman Robert McKenzie said the cause of the accident - which occurred in the Glendale area - was unknown."Paramedics from the Department of Health’s Emergency Medical Services responded to a sugar estate in the Glendale area‚ where the aircraft had crashed. "On assessment they found that a man aged about 60 had sadly sustained fatal injuries‚" said McKenzie.The man's identity has not been released. – TMG Digital/Sunday Times..
