Ackermann's choice is likely to backfire

This is the last set of Super rugby round-robin games before the quarterfinals and the most surprising move has come from Lions coach Johan Ackermann. He will rest all his frontline players and field a virtual B team against the Jaguares in Argentina.The Lions need to stay in top spot to ensure a perfect path to a potential home final, which is what makes the decision so strange.Nonetheless, the coaching staff must have given this great thought and must have reasons for their choice. But I think it will backfire on them and tip the Argentinian outfit to win a tight game.In other Super rugby games in the Rugby 5 Pool on Saturday, the Stormers look certain to build on their successful mini-tour to Australia, where they beat both the Rebels and the Force.They should beat the hapless Kings by a comfortable margin and, in what should be a physical battle, the Bulls might just edge out the Cheetahs in the Free State.A suggested all-to-go win bet:Reds, at home, to beat the Rebels.Sharks to beat the Sunwolves in Durban.Brumbies to recover from last weekend's brutal beating by the Blues and beat the Force at home.Stormers to thrash the Kings at Newlands.Jaguares to beat the Lions B team...
