A video of a Johannesburg Metro Police Department traffic officer dancing while she directs traffic has taken South African social media by storm‚ and it really is for good reason.

Times LIVE picked up the video on Facebook after motorist Murray Kernick posted it on Saturday.

On Monday morning‚ the video was viewed 175‚000 times and had been shared 4‚000 times.

But by Tuesday morning‚ the video was watched 828‚000 times and was shared by 18‚000 people. It has gone viral for all the right reasons – a normal day in traffic‚ changed in an instant to a moment to remember. In case you missed it‚ here is the video again:
