From kwaito star Mampintsha’s court appearance for assault to the memorial service of Matwetwe leadactor Sibusiso Khwinana, here are five top videos you might have missed this week.

Sbu Khwinana’s memorial

The star was remembered by family, friends and colleagues at a service at AFM Hilltop Restoration Centre iin Soshanguve, Gauteng, on Thursday.

The star died after being stabbed during an altercation over his cellphone in Pretoria on Friday last week. ’sweek,

Kagiso Lediga, who directed Matwetwe, said Khwinana had a promising future.

President Cyril Ramaphosa

During a question-and-answer session in parliament on Thursday, President Ramaphosa acknowledged South African comedian Trevor Noah, who was in attendance. 

Ramaphosa joked that he envied Noah, after the comedian received a warm welcome from MPs.

Robert Kelly

For the first time since his arrest, American musician R Kelly spoke out about the sexual assault charges against him.

A video of him losing his temper during a CBS interview with Gayle King went viral.

Woman fighting for her life

A video of a woman who was swept into a river near a waterfall in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg, went viral.

The woman held onto the branch of a tree as the raging river almost swept her away. Paramedics and security rescued her.

Mampintsha’s court appearance

Kwaito musician Mammpintsha made a brief appearance in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday after a video, purportedly showing him assaulting his long-time girlfriend, Babes Wodumo, surfaced.

He was released on R2,000 bail.
